American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an offsite outpatient clinic. The role requires active licensure, BLS, and strong clinical documentation.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm in an offsite setting focusing on adult and geriatric patients, with travel to major holidays and a supportive team environment. Cerner EMR is used for documentation.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• CA PT license required if applicable.
• Active state or compact licensure required; pending licenses not accepted.
• Competency in physical therapy for adult and geriatric patients required.
• Strong documentation and time management skills required.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• Two supervisor/peer professional references required, one within 12 months and one within 3 years of employment, including dates and rehire eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Offsite outpatient physical therapy clinic setting.
• Focus on orthopedic patient population, primarily adults and geriatric patients (minimal pediatric cases, rarely under age 10).
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with no call or weekend requirements.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Travelers will work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year\'s), with holiday time off considered but not guaranteed.
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, individualized treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and effective documentation.
• Completes evaluations within 48 hours of initiation per department protocol.
• Provides patient and family education and training as part of treatment plan.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and physicians regarding treatment plans and patient status.
• May delegate to and supervise support staff and students within scope of practice.
• Expected to meet departmental productivity standards.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Candidates must not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health within the past year.
