American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Physical Therapist for a mixed acute/outpatient setting in Pendleton, OR. Requires 1+ year outpatient PT experience and BLS certification. A state license is required if applicable, plus a valid driver’s license.

Work involves a 75/25 mix of acute and outpatient orthopedics, with 45-minute appointments, MEDITECH EMR, and a 4x10-hour shift schedule starting at 8:00 am. Open to first-time travelers.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Driver's license required at time of consideration
• Two professional references: one supervisor within last 12 months, one peer or supervisor within last 3 years, with dates of employment and rehire eligibility

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting with an outpatient orthopedic clinic located in an athletic club
• Patient mix is 75% acute care and 25% outpatient orthopedics
• Covers both an outpatient ortho clinic and the acute medical floor
• Patient population includes orthopedic, medical, and neuro diagnoses with outpatient appointments lasting 45 minutes
• Uses MEDITECH EMR
• Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, Tue–Fri or Mon–Thu, starting at 8:00 am
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Works alongside a team of 10 PTs, 5 OTs, and 2 SLPs, with PTA aides but no PTAs on staff
• Day 1 department-specific orientation provided
• Business casual dress code required; no denim
• Open to first-time travelers
• Candidates previously employed directly by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities within the past year are not eligible for consideration
