American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience to join an outpatient clinic in Texas. The role may flex to acute care coverage and requires day-shift hours (Mon-Thu 8:00am–5:00pm, Fri 8:00am–12:00pm).

You'll treat orthopedic conditions, use modalities such as traction, e-stim, ultrasound, and hot/cold therapies, and perform gait training and prosthetic training. BLS required; Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the profession required.
• Strong documentation skills including evaluations, plans of care, and discharge summaries.

Responsabilités

• Outpatient Clinic with possible flex coverage to Acute Care, including weekends/holidays if needed.
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm.
• Treats orthopedic conditions including DDD, DJD, hip/knee injuries, low back pain, sciatica, and post-op spinal/shoulder surgeries.
• Utilizes modalities such as cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, ultrasound, and moist heat.
• Performs gait training, extremity mobilization, and prosthetic training.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, home exercise programs, and patient/family education.
• Covers orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurological patient populations.
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing.
• Candidates should avoid substances that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products.

• BLS certification required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Strong documentation skills including evaluations, plans of care, and discharge summaries

• Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
