Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in New Lenox, IL. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote functional independence in hospitals, clinics, or rehab centers.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to guide treatment.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement PT plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OTs and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients/caregivers on home programs and injury prevention.
• Ensure safe environment and adhere to infection control and regulatory standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for transitions to home or community settings.
