Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Macomb, IL. You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients to improve mobility and reduce pain while collaborating with a dedicated clinical team.

The role offers travel-friendly scheduling, comprehensive benefits, and weekly pay through Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy. The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license, is comfortable with travel assignments, and can work 40 hours per week in a dayshift

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapy treatments to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
