Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in South Augusta, GA. The PT will work 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and supervise PTAs while ensuring compliant care plans and documentation.

Candidates need 6 months of PT experience, BLS, and a Georgia license; new grads may apply. Travel pay and stipends are involved with daily duties in a hospital/clinic setting.

Qualifications

• 6 months of PT experience required; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Active Georgia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Follow PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment needs.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
