Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Lilburn, Georgia.

The position requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing. You will supervise PTAs, bill per policy, and collaborate with physicians to plan and adjust patient care.

You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, use facility systems, and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; for an exceptional candidate, 6 months may be accepted.
• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification required.
• State-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand and comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to plan care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Evaluate patients and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as needed based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
