Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Jackson, Georgia. The role requires 40 hours per week, day shifts, and travel-specific duties within a hospital/center setting.

Candidates should have 6 months of PT experience, active BLS and state licensure, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. New grads are encouraged to apply, with tax-free stipends and overtime considerations as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; understand anatomy and medical terminology.
• New grads welcome; 6 months of experience recommended for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to plan care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and plan of care.
• Evaluate and adjust plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital systems for daily tasks and documentation.
