Saint Cyr Partners in Bloomington, IN seeks a qualified phlebotomist for a contract role lasting about 3 months with potential for permanent hire. The position involves floating to multiple sites in the Bloomington area, with a daytime schedule of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling and processing, and meticulous record-keeping. Mileage expenses are paid, and a clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the process of venipuncture to patients and assist with other specimen collection as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and temperature control.
