Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement in Bloomington, IN. The position involves floating to nearby locations and working 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, for an initial 3-month term with potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data recording, and ensuring proper transport of specimens. Requires pediatric experience and a clean driving record.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 2 years of experience

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens; record maintenance data and decontamination.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimens, ensure correct labeling and packaging for transport.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly and courteously to patients.
• Maintain specimen integrity by proper storage and temperature control.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA regulations.
