Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Stockbridge, GA. This role covers multiple Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy locations, offering exposure to diverse patient populations.

You will perform venipuncture, collect samples for various tests, and maintain accurate patient data while delivering exceptional service. Requires phlebotomy certification and at least 2 years of experience; travel to surrounding sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
