Job summary

Labcorp in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to cover central Atlanta, Cumming and surrounding areas. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, enter patient data, process billing, and travel to multiple sites.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, and phlebotomy certification or completion training.

• Clear communication with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system and assist with billing when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service and support at multiple clinics/sites.
• Travel to additional sites within the central Atlanta area as required.
