Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to cover IOPs, PSCs, Walgreens and standalone locations with travel to Albany, Tifton, Valdosta, and surrounding counties in Georgia. The role requires phlebotomy certification and a high school diploma, with travel and overtime as needed.

The position involves venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent patient service, with a schedule of 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and potential Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and patient interaction are required.
• Strong communication and customer-service abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for tests and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Enter data accurately into the patient information system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Travel to multiple sites and maintain records for each patient.
