Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float to join our Brunswick, GA team. The role offers exposure to a variety of patients and clinics, fostering rapid skill growth. Workweek is Monday–Friday 6:00am–6:00pm with rotating Saturdays, with travel to additional sites as needed.

The position emphasizes patient service, accurate data entry, and collaboration in a dynamic lab environment within Labcorp’s extensive network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
