Job summary

Labcorp in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. This role supports multiple Patient Service Centers (PSCs) and In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) locations, performing venipuncture and specimen handling with travel across sites including Stockbridge, McDonough, Monticello, Fayetteville, Newnan and surrounding areas.

The position requires 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or GED (or phlebotomy certification), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification/training.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed
