Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Vista, CA for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Typical schedule is 6 AM–6 PM, Monday to Friday, with weekend rotation and possible early starts or late shifts.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification must be valid for the employing state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and comply with tests.
• Package and transport specimens following protocol and temperature controls.
• Maintain OSHA/DEP compliance and participate in trainings.
