Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Phlebotomist on a contract basis in Vista, CA, with potential for permanent placement. The role requires experience in blood draws, specimen handling, labeling, and compliance with OSHA/DEP procedures. Schedule is 6 AM–6 PM, Monday–Friday, with weekend rotation and a 3-month projected duration.

Compensation is $20.25 per hour with benefits and mileage reimbursement. A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required to cover PSC locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing blood draws and specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and properly handle specimens.
• Document maintenance data and communicate results clearly.
• Pack and transport specimens following protocol to preserve integrity.
