Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a Phlebotomist in Vista, CA for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The schedule runs 6 AM to 6 PM, M-F, with weekend rotation and a 8-hour shift; starting as early as 6 AM or ending as late as 6 PM may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification where required by state
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED (1-4 years of experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label and process specimens
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperatures
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and department trainings
