Genie Matthews and Associates seeks a Phlebotomist in Vista, CA for a 3-month contract with potential to go permanent. Shift is 6 AM–6 PM, Monday to Friday, with weekend rotation. Requires valid phlebotomy certification and minimum 6 months blood-draw experience in fast-paced settings.

Mileage reimbursement and benefits available. Pay is $20.25 per hour. Responsibilities include drawing blood, labeling, centrifuging, maintaining records, and ensuring specimen integrity according to protocol.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain records.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients clearly and courteously.
• Package and transport specimens while ensuring specimen integrity.
