Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Vista, CA. The shift runs 6AM–6PM, Mon–Fri, with weekend rotation and potential for permanent placement. Pay is $20.25 per hour, with benefits and mileage reimbursement.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED; 1-4 years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and label accordingly.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
• Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
