American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Roanoke, Virginia. This travel assignment requires an active VA or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS, and Epic EMR experience.

The role features a 3x12 hour day shift (6:45 AM–7:15 PM), 36 hours per week, and assignments ranging from 14 to 26 weeks with floating as needed based on acuity. Epic proficiency is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active VA or compact RN license required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic EMR is required.
• Two professional references required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in a PCU setting with floating based on patient acuity.
• Patient ratios currently 1:5 with goal to reach 1:4.
• Day shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• Assignment length ranges from 14 to 26 weeks by request.
• Specific unit placement determined after clinical evaluation.
• Uses the Epic EMR system; Epic experience is required.
• All travelers expected to float within their acuity level as needed.
• Must provide a copy of driver's license and SSN for compliance.
