American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift in Roanoke, Virginia. The position requires ACLS, BLS, and Epic EMR experience. Typical schedule is 48 hours per week on 12-hour nights, with 3x12 hour shifts and options for 4x12 on request.

Assignment lengths range from 13 to 26 weeks, with a possibility of lengthening based on facility needs. Travel and licensure reimbursements are offered, along with per diems and non-taxed subsidies where

Qualifications

• Active RN license for VA or Compact states is required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital.
• Patient ratios are currently 1:5, with a goal of 1:4.
• Night shifts, typically 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15); 4x12 hour shifts available upon request.
• Assignment length options range from 13 to 26 weeks, with flexibility by request.
• Unit assignment will be determined after clinical evaluation based on facility need.
• Floating to other units of similar acuity is required.
• Use of Epic charting system is required.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and float as needed to units of similar acuity.
• Longer contract lengths of up to 26 weeks can be requested.
• Two professional references are required for consideration.
