Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the PCU in Roanoke, Virginia. The assignment offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and a start date of 01/05/2026 for up to 52 weeks, with the possibility of longer contracts based on need.

Requirements include an active VA or compact RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, and EPIC EMR experience. Pay packages reflect 12-hour shifts and a weekly schedule, with tax-free stipends to be determined.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA or compact state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Two professional references required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PCU of a hospital.
• Patient ratios around 1:5 with goal 1:4.
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• Assignment length ranges from 14 to 52 weeks.
• Travelers may float within acuity levels as needed.
• Utilizes EPIC EMR; EPIC experience required.
• Provide nursing care to intermediate/PCU patients.
• Start date is flexible, contracts up to 52 weeks.
