TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Great Falls, Montana.

The PCU Travel Nurse will care for patients needing close monitoring but not ICU-level care. This 13-week assignment requires 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and uses cardiac monitoring; duties include meds administration, IVs, dressings, and rapid response to changes in condition. ACLS/BLS/PALS and 3 years acute care experience required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and document prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
