Job summary

TotalMed RN is actively seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Marquette, MI. This travel assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift.

The PCU RN will monitor and care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, including cardiac step-down care. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and is comfortable with telemetry monitoring and IV therapy.

Qualifications

• RN with PCU experience and recent acute care exposure.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Travel nursing requirements and certifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for PCU patients and stabilize cardiac conditions.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and manage IV medications.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Coordinate with the care team to respond to changes in patient status.
