Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The position features a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications. As a PCU travel nurse you will monitor cardiac patients, manage medications, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required; 1 year acute care experience preferred.
• PCU RN responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting patient care in a progressive care unit.
• Travel RN assignment details include 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed meds; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret patient monitoring equipment; respond to changes.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse signs.
