Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado. The PCU RN will deliver care to patients who require close monitoring but are not in ICU, using telemetry to track vital signs and intervene as needed.

The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. ACLS/BLS required; NIH certification preferred; strong acute care background essential for success in a fast-paced travel role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Must be able to travel and meet travel assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret electronic displays.
• Administer prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Assist with IVs, dressings, catheters and related procedures.
