Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse in Denver, Colorado. The RN will care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments, with responsibilities including bedside care, IV starts, medication administration, and continuous monitoring of vital signs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and are able to work 12-hour day shifts on a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of relevant acute care experience preferred.
• Travel RN assignment with PCU focus in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret patient data and operate monitoring equipment.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and coordinate care.
