Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care (PCU) for a travel assignment in Denver, Colorado. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac and other vitals, respond to changes, and provide skilled bedside care for stable-to-critically monitored patients.

This 13-week travel opportunity requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, 12-hour shifts, and 36 hours per week. ACLS/BLS required; NIH certification may be needed. Enjoy weekly pay and comprehensive benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required for PCU travel assignments.
• NIH certification may be required before starting.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
