Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The position is a 13-week assignment offering 36 hours per week with a 12-hour night shift.

Immediate need for a PCU RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience. You will provide bedside care, monitor cardiac patients, and perform tasks such as IV starts, dressings, and medication administration in a fast-paced PCU setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PCU/step-down nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse signs.
