Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a PCU RN travel nurse for a 24-week assignment in Saint Louis, MO. The travel nurse will work 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, in a Cardiac Stepdown / PCU setting, caring for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS certs, and the ability to manage medications and monitor complex cardiac equipment. This travel role includes a tax-free stipend and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to work 12-hour nights, 48 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Monitor and adjust vital signs and cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Provide patient care and educate patients and families as needed.
