Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU Travel Nurse in Clarkston, WA. The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, with BLS and ACLS certifications.

This travel assignment offers 12-hour shifts, a 13-week duration, and a focus on cardiac/step-down patient care. As a PCU nurse, you will monitor patients, titrate medications, and respond to emergencies while supporting a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Other certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions to treatment.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
