Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. This PCU RN role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS, with a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, and night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.

The PCU travel nurse will monitor cardiac patients, titrate IV meds, and respond to changes in patient status in a high-paced environment. Benefits and weekly pay are included as part of TotalMed RN's travel assignments.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Monitor and adjust patient care using cardiac monitors and IVs.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Assist with procedures and maintain patient safety in a fast-paced PCU environment.
