Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina. The PCU RN will provide bedside care and monitor cardiac patients on a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment.

Travel experience and 1–2 years acute care preferred; licensure as an RN required. The role involves manual lifting, IV starts, medication administration, and using monitoring equipment to detect changes and respond promptly.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• PCU/stepdown experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for PCU patients and stabilize when needed.
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac status using dedicated equipment.
• Administer medications and document responses.
• Assist with procedures and IV starts; ensure patient safety.
