Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Florence, SC. The PCU/Step-down specialty requires 18 months of acute care experience, an active RN license, and BLS. Assignment spans 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient/family education.
• Revise care plan according to evaluation and clinical changes.
