Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for a PCU RN assignment in Florence, SC. This 13-week travel position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience and holds ACLS and BLS certifications. You will monitor patients needing close observation and operate telemetry equipment in a fast-paced unit, performing essential step-down care.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor reactions.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and other vital information.
• Assist with rapid response when needed.
