Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a PCU travel nurse in Florence, SC for an immediate 13-week assignment. The RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, providing care for patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU-level support.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS credentials. The role emphasizes patient monitoring, medication administration, and coordination with a fast-paced team in a travel nursing environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred
• Experience in a PCU/step-down setting is ideal

Responsibilities

• Provide care for PCU patients requiring close monitoring
• Monitor and record patient vitals and respond to changes
• Administer prescribed medications and document appropriately
• Utilize equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital signs and report changes
