ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU in Florence, SC for a 13-week contract. The Stepdown RN will work nights on a 12-hour shift, with a 36-hour work week and holiday rotation. The role emphasizes patient care in a stepdown unit, medications administration, and collaboration with the care team.

Requirements include 2+ years of RN experience, SC or Compact license, ACLS/BLS, NIHSS preferred, and Epic charting experience preferred. Benefits include health coverage and 401k among others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in stepdown or telemetry.
• Current RN license in South Carolina or a Compact State license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide care for patients in a stepdown unit.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Perform patient assessments and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures and health management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
