Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Winchester, VA. The PACU RN provides post-anesthesia care, assesses recovery, administers medications, and collaborates with the surgical team.
Start date 10/26/2026; 36 hours/week; 12-hour days. Required: 1 year PACU experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred: PALS or ENPC. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and recruiter support.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a PACU RN
- Active RN license in the relevant state
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Responsibilities
- Receive and assess patients transferring from the operating room and monitor post-anesthesia condition
- Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Document patient progress and communicate with the care team
- Collaborate with surgical team for comprehensive post-operative care
- Handoff patients between OR, PACU, and post-PACU units
