Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU for a 10-week assignment in Worcester, MA. Start ASAP with evenings 8-hour shifts, travel status offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

As a PACU RN, you will assess recovery, monitor vitals, administer treatments, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge. Licensure in MA, BLS and ACLS are required; PALS/ENPC preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from the operating room and determine post-anesthesia condition
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU techniques
• Document patient status and interventions in medical records
• Coordinate with surgical team and other providers for post-operative care
• Prepare patient for discharge or transfer to PACU/step-down units
