Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel PACU RN for a 14-week assignment in Jeffersonville, IN. The role focuses on post-anesthesia care, recovery assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Schedule: 36 hours weekly, 12-hour day shifts. Start date 09/27/2026. Travel assignment with competitive pay, full benefits, and 24/7 recruiter support. Candidates must have 1 year PACU experience, RN license, BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in PACU transitioning from the operating room.
• Monitor vitals, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
• Document patient conditions and interventions accurately in medical records.
• Develop discharge instructions and educate patients and families.
