Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families from admission to discharge, covering care plans and instructions.
• Documents education provided and notes outcomes; initiates referrals as needed.
• Delivers competent nursing care and responds to unit and hospital codes.
• Administers medications accurately as ordered and supports physicians with procedures.
• Provides safe nursing care for patients requiring oxygen support.
• Manages admissions, transfers and discharges professionally.
• Verifies and signs physician orders and collects lab specimens as ordered.
• Evaluates the nursing care plan and ensures quality care delivery.
