AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our StaffFlex program in Orlando, FL. This contract role offers flexible assignments across facilities, with opportunities to convert to permanent staff and guaranteed hours.

You will join a mission-driven team delivering high-quality care while working in a dynamic, supportive environment. The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, 2+ years of acute hospital experience, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes.
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills).
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking and assesses patient level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Develops individualized, evidence-based care plans to improve outcomes.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and staff to maintain professional relationships.
