Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Henrico, Virginia. The role requires 1–2 years recent acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, with RN first assistant potential. Duties include perioperative care, instrument handling, and patient education.

Shifts are 10 hours, days, with 40 hours per week. ACLS/BLS/PALS and 1 year acute care experience are required. Travel employment, stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care and monitor during procedures.
• Assist physicians and operating room staff in surgical setups and instrument handling.
• Educate patients and families before discharge about post-operative care and medication.
