Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an OR Travel Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Augusta, GA. This role supports circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant tasks in the operating room, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour rotating shifts. ACLS and BLS certifications are required, along with acute care experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical setting across procedures.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.
• Georgia RN license required for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery patient education.
• Prepare, administer and document medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to intraoperative events.
• Coordinate with operating room team for patient safety and procedure accuracy.
