Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for a Beckley, West Virginia assignment. The role involves circulating, scrub, and potentially RN first assistant duties in the operating room. Expect 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with day shifts and travel requirements.

Requirements include ACLS/BLS, 1–2 years acute care experience in circulating or scrub roles, and flexibility to support a fast-paced surgical team. This travel position offers comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; additional certifications may be required before starting.
• Travel nursing assignment: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients before, during and after procedures.
• Provide basic bedside care and administer prescribed medications with documentation.
• Act as liaison between patients' families and the operating team.
• Prepare instruments and equipment and ensure patient safety and correct procedures.
