Position Overview:

Indagare is seeking Travel Operations Assistants to join our Bookings team. Our staff support Trip Designers by managing logistical and operational trip-planning activities that help our members discover authentic experiences and make remarkable journeys.

You will report to the Operations Manager. This is a fully remote position.

What You'll Do:
  • Gather details to create trip itineraries, including:
    • Corresponding with hotels and suppliers to check rates and availability.
    • Making and confirming reservations and services.
    • Creating and editing trip proposals, itineraries, and final documents.
    • Addressing travel questions such as routing and visa requirements.
    • Ensuring accurate pricing, invoicing, and payments across currencies.
  • Build strong relationships with travel partners and destination experts.
  • Collaborate and share information with other Travel Operations Assistants and Designers, and assist in training and coverage.
  • Expand your travel industry knowledge through Indagare training to grow into a Trip Designer or Operations Lead.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of full-time professional experience preferred.
  • A passion for travel planning and a desire to grow into a travel specialist.
  • Excellent customer service skills aligned with our hospitality ethos.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines with quality.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with Slack, Salesforce, and Zoom is a plus.
