American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Oklahoma. The ideal candidate holds an Oklahoma OT license and has at least 2 years of experience in acute rehab.

Responsabilités

• Treat in inpatient rehab hospital for stroke, SCI, TBI, ortho patients.
• 13-week assignment; day shift 8:00–17:00.
• Weekend hours including one Saturday with a weekday swap.
• Patient ratio 5–7; vary by case.
• Work with PT/OT lead; use UDS EHR.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adhere to dress code (black scrubs).
• Assist patients with ADLs across diagnoses.

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and current OT licensure in Oklahoma.

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license required for the state of Oklahoma, if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
• AHA certifications required
• Comfortable working in an acute rehab setting
• Basic computer knowledge and strong English communication skills (verbal and written) required

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting treating stroke, brain/spinal cord injury, amputation, and complex orthopedic patients
• 13-week assignment with day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend hours required, including one Saturday with a weekday swap
• Patient ratio of 5-7 patients
• General adult patient population with common diagnoses including CVA, SCI, TBI, and orthopedic conditions
• UDS EHR system used
• No float requirements
• Perform ADLs with patients across various diagnoses and functional levels
• Facility features specialized equipment including an InMotion Robotic Arm, therapy car, and apartments for practicing daily living tasks
• Work alongside supervisors including a PT and OT lead
• Must be cooperative and demonstrate strong teamwork skills
• Black scrubs required for first day and ongoing dress code
• Flu vaccination required, or an approved facility-specific exemption with mask use during flu season (November through March)
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
