Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for an outpatient children's hospital setting in California.

Active CA licensure or eligibility, NBCOT certification, and BLS are required, with a minimum of two years in pediatric OT, including outpatient experience. The position features a 4x10-hour daytime schedule (Tue–Fri, 8:00 am–6:30 pm) with Mondays off, Epic charting, and a 20-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Pediatric outpatient therapy setting at a nationally recognized children's hospital
Treats pediatric patients with developmental conditions including autism, sensory challenges, fine motor delay, and regulation issues
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Tuesday through Friday (8:00am-6:30pm), with Mondays off
No on-call requirements, though shifts may be cancelled based on patient volume
Epic charting system used
20-week assignment length
Facility is a Level 1 trauma center, Magnet recognized, and a teaching facility
Scrub color is unrestricted
May be required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
Maximum RTO of 6 days must be confirmed upfront
First-time travelers will be considered
Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
Free traveler parking provided
Permanent staff must be separated from employment for at least 1 year before becoming eligible to travel
