Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist - Pediatrics for an outpatient setting. Requires 1+ year pediatric experience and ability to work independently. BLS and CA PT license are required. Position supports travel with housing and licensure reimbursements.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8-hour days (0730–1800). No on-call or floating. Epic is used for charting; free parking is provided. Open to first-time travelers with local candidate options within 50 miles.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience.
BLS certification required.
CA PT license required (license required if applicable).
Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Outpatient pediatric physical therapy setting.
Acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts between 0730 and 1800.
No on-call requirements.
No floating required.
Uses Epic for charting.
Free parking available.
First-time travelers accepted.
Candiates may float between sister facilities near the contracted location.
Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at applicable local rate.
Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
All RTO must be submitted at time of application and is subject to facility approval.
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; OR/L&D scrubs provided.
